Efren Reyes

Efren Reyes, also known as “The Magician,” is a legendary Filipino pool player. He is one of the greatest players of all time. Reyes started playing pool at a young age and quickly made a name for himself in the local pool halls.
Top players in the Philippines noticed Reyes’ skills, and he began to compete in local and national tournaments. He won his first major title in 1978 at the Philippine National Open 9-Ball Championship. This was the beginning of a long and illustrious career that would see Reyes become a household name.
Reyes’ unique style of play sets him apart. He is known for his creative shot-making. He uses unconventional angles and bank shots to sink difficult balls. Additionally, Reyes is incredibly skilled at controlling the cue ball which allows him to set up for difficult shots.
Throughout his career, Reyes has won numerous titles and awards, including multiple World Championships. He has represented the Philippines in international competitions and has won gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games and the Asian Games.
Despite his many accomplishments, Reyes remains humble and grounded. He inspires and mentors young players in the Philippines and around the world. He is a true ambassador for the sport of pool and a role model for aspiring players everywhere.
